Disclaimer

Things worth saying out loud so we're on the same page.

Personal opinions only

Everything on this site reflects my own opinions and experience as an individual developer. Views expressed here do not represent any employer, client, or organization I've worked with — past, present, or future.

Not professional advice

Articles are informational. They are not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Code samples, architectural recommendations, and career thoughts are starting points — verify against your own constraints, official documentation, and qualified professionals before acting on them.

Accuracy & obsolescence

Software changes fast. An article accurate in 2024 may be wrong by 2026. I try to update critical pieces when I notice drift, but I cannot guarantee every word stays current. Always cross-reference with the relevant vendor's latest documentation.

Advertising disclosure

This site may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense, Ezoic, or equivalent). These ads are delivered automatically and I do not personally endorse individual advertisers. Ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Ad revenue helps offset hosting costs and keeps the blog open and ad-blocker friendly (no content gating, no paywalls). If ads bother you, I recommend using a browser-level ad blocker — I won't hold it against you.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If I recommend a product, tool, or service with an affiliate link, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you if you purchase through it. I only recommend things I actually use or have vetted. An affiliate relationship never influences editorial position — if a tool is bad, I'll say so even with a commission on the table.

Affiliate links will be disclosed inline when present.

Sponsored content

At present, this blog publishes no paid or sponsored articles. Every post is editorially independent. If that ever changes, sponsored posts will be clearly labeled as "Sponsored" at the top of the article.

External links

Links to third-party sites, repositories, and documentation are provided for convenience. I do not control their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement beyond its specific context in the article.

Open-source projects

Projects I maintain (SimpMusic and others) are released under their respective open-source licenses. They come with no warranty. Use at your own risk. Bug reports and contributions are welcomed on GitHub.
